"INHERITANCE"
The portraiture project documents the relationship between a parent and child. Observing characteristics and features we inherit from our parents and the changing of fashions over time. Each subject was dressed as their parent when they were of a similar age. Sitters range in age from 16 to 28 and the decades in which the photographs of the parents were taken range from the 1960s to the 1990s.
The collaborative project by Photographer, Hayley Benoit and Fashion Stylist, Hannah Newman was funded by Ideas Tap for the Innovators Fund Award 2013
